ISWA and host partner CIWM are pleased to announce the official release of the technical programme for the 2026 World Congress, taking place this November at London’s QEII Centre.
The published schedule provides a comprehensive overview of the streams shaping this year’s ISWA 2026 event. Designed to facilitate cross-border knowledge transfer between operators, technology providers, and policy architects, the ISWA 2026 technical programme explores key subthemes including Material Streams, Circular Economy in Practice, Energy from Waste, Behavioural Change, Health & Safety, Finance & Investment, and Organic Waste Streams.
A special thank you goes to the reviewers of the abstracts, including the ISWA Working Group, who evaluated over 400 submissions to help curate this year’s lineup.
Gathering over 1,200 delegates, operators, technology pioneers, and policymakers from more than 50 countries, the 2026 Congress provides an essential setting for technical knowledge transfer.
Whether evaluating municipal infrastructure in emerging economies or implementing advanced net-zero recovery technologies, the schedule allows attendees to tailor their experience to their specific technical priorities.
Delegates are encouraged to explore the complete interactive schedule online today to plan their attendance ahead of individual speaker and session chair reveals launching later this autumn.
Due to capacity limits at the QEII Centre in central London, early registration is strongly recommended to secure your delegate pass.
