The Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (HSWMA) is a non-profit non-governmental organization, founded in 2000 and today has more than 650 members.

Our members (Professors, Ministries’ and Local Authorities’ representatives, research staff, consulting as well as construction companies, industry, environmental organizations etc.) cover the broad area of Circular Economy and Solid Waste Management.

Our objectives, to promote sustainable methods for Solid Waste Management, the development and dissemination of relevant scientific methods and applications, the protection of the quality of our environment, and the preservation of natural resources and energy in the framework of the circular economy model.
