This enables operators, clients and regulators to understand whether the right licences, permits and controls were in place at the right time, without reliance on manual checks or fragmented records. Alongside this, the Waste Thesaurus supports consistent classification of waste materials and is the largest publicly available tool of its kind, used in almost every country globally, while our Directory helps citizens locate local recycling services.
