APESB – Portuguese Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering – is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1980, dedicated to the study, development and dissemination of knowledge in the environmental sectors of water, sanitation and waste management.

APESB acts as a national platform connecting academia, public authorities, utilities, regulators and industry stakeholders, promoting technical knowledge exchange, policy discussion and international cooperation. The association is also the Portuguese National Member of ISWA, IWA, EWA and WEF.
